Pagani Huayra Roadster BC

Sold

An Open-Air Masterpiece of Performance, Art and Engineering

The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC represents the ultimate expression of Pagani’s philosophy: an uncompromising fusion of art, science and automotive engineering.

Produced in an exceptionally limited run of just 40 individually handcrafted examples, the Roadster BC was conceived as a road-legal hypercar with the performance, aerodynamics and character of a competition machine. With launch prices exceeding €3.1 million (approximately $3.5 million+), each example is a highly exclusive and individually commissioned work of automotive art.

History & Hertiage

The Meaning Behind “BC”

The “BC” designation pays tribute to Benny Caiola, a close friend of Horacio Pagani and the first customer in Pagani’s history to purchase one of the marque’s automobiles.

Following the success of the celebrated Huayra BC Coupé, Pagani responded to customer demand for an open-top interpretation that could combine extreme performance with the exhilaration of open-air driving.

Handcrafted Exclusivity

Every Roadster BC is meticulously assembled at Pagani’s atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro, Italy. Months of painstaking craftsmanship go into each automobile, with every vehicle configured to the individual preferences of its owner.

No two examples need be alike. From the choice of materials and finishes to the finest details of the interior an

Inspiration

Where Art Meets Science

At the heart of every Pagani lies Horacio Pagani’s belief in the inseparable relationship between art and science, inspired in part by the philosophy of Leonardo da Vinci.

The Huayra Roadster BC embodies this principle through a design in which every surface serves a purpose. Form follows function, yet engineering requirements are transformed into sculptural details.

Inspired by Racing History

The Roadster BC draws inspiration from the great sports-racing cars of automotive history, combining their visual drama with advanced contemporary engineering.

Its development also reflects the experience gained from Pagani’s track-focused creations, including the Zonda R and Zonda Cinque. Aggressive aerodynamic principles derived from motorsport have been reinterpreted for a road-legal open-top hypercar.

Design & Aerodynamics

Sculpted by the Air

Every vent, duct and contour of the Huayra Roadster BC has been developed with aerodynamic performance in mind. Rather than simply following contemporary styling trends, the bodywork has been shaped around the movement of air.

At 280 km/h (174 mph), the Roadster BC is capable of generating more than 500 kg (1,102 lbs) of downforce, providing exceptional aerodynamic stability at high speed.

Active Aerodynamics

Independent active aerodynamic flaps positioned at the front and rear corners continuously adjust the car’s aerodynamic characteristics.

During braking, cornering and acceleration, the system works to manage downforce and aerodynamic balance, helping the Roadster BC remain composed as driving conditions change.

Exposed Craftsmanship

The visual language of the Roadster BC celebrates its engineering beneath the surface.

Exposed carbon-fibre bodywork highlights the lightweight construction, while the intricate quad-exhaust system provides an unmistakable signature at the rear.

Inside, the cockpit adopts an aircraft-inspired aesthetic, combining milled aluminium, exposed mechanical linkages and finely crafted leather. Every component has been designed not merely to perform a function, but to reveal the mechanical artistry behind it.

We discreetly source and place vehicles of this calibre for private clients.

Engineering

Mercedes-AMG V12 Power

At the heart of the Huayra Roadster BC is a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V12, designated M158 EVO.

Power: 791–800 hp
Torque: 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft)
Peak torque availability: from approximately 2,000 rpm

The result is an extraordinary combination of immense power and immediate response, delivered through a powertrain engineered specifically for the demands of the Huayra Roadster BC.

Carbon-Titanium Architecture

The Roadster BC is built around an advanced Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax monocoque.

This sophisticated composite architecture provides exceptional torsional and flexional rigidity while keeping weight to a minimum — a critical consideration in a high-performance open-top automobile

Lightweight Transmission

Power is delivered through an Xtrac seven-speed automated manual transmission, featuring electro-hydraulic actuation and a single-clutch configuration.

The transmission was selected in part for its ability to reduce mass compared with heavier dual-clutch alternatives, supporting the Roadster BC’s uncompromising focus on performance and weight reduction.

Performance

Despite housing a formidable twin-turbocharged V12, the Huayra Roadster BC achieves a remarkably low dry weight of approximately 1,250 kg (2,756 lbs).

Its lightweight construction, sophisticated aerodynamics and immense power combine to create a hypercar capable of generating more than 1.9 g of lateral acceleration through corners.

The result is an automobile engineered not simply for straight-line speed, but for extraordinary levels of aerodynamic grip, precision and driver engagement.

The Pagani Philosophy

The Huayra Roadster BC is more than a high-performance automobile.

It is the culmination of a philosophy in which engineering becomes sculpture, technology becomes art, and individuality becomes part of the design itself.

Limited to only 40 examples worldwide, each Roadster BC represents a rare intersection of uncompromising performance, meticulous Italian craftsmanship and bespoke automotive design.

The Huayra Roadster BC is not merely built. It is conceived, sculpted and handcrafted as an individual work of art
